We noticed that many elderly tend to have some forms of health deficiencies and ailments. So, in order to deliver quality care, it is also necessary to provide primary health care. Hence, we had obtained a medical clinic license from Ministry of Health in 2001. With the help of volunteered Western and Chinese doctors, we are now operating a Free Medical Clinic to support our holistic elderly care, and also to offer free medical service to our senior citizens living in the community.
We provide regular Western and traditional Chinese medical services for the elderly within our kampung. We also make home visits and provide free medicine for the needy elderly. Besides the usually consultation and health checkups, our volunteer doctors also provide advice on recuperative measures and treatments for chronic diseases like diabetes. We also organize healthcare events for the patients and their family members, where they impart knowledge and share experiences on common ailments and their management.
