Kampung Senang’s Holistic Lifestyle Centre was opened in June 2006 featuring an Eco-Friendly Kitchen and Café, Multipurpose hall and rooms for natural health therapy. HLC promotes activities such as sea salt & mud bath hydrotherapy, yoga, qigong, meditation, calligraphy and arts & craft.

“The Mission of HLC is to be a Learning and ‘Releasing Space’ for all people who wish to experience a more holistic lifestyle and improve their physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.”

What we mean by ‘release’ is that here, in this space we are creating, people will come and learn techniques to release fears, anger and other negative emotions that cause Dis-ease. And, in its place, people will experience peace, joy and good health for themselves and their families.

Preventing sickness is another mission of the HLC. We want to educate the young and still-healthy on how they can be properly nourished and manage stress so they will not succumb to the lifestyle diseases – obesity, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, premature aging - that are putting middle-aged people into wheelchairs.

ECO-FRIENDLY KITCHEN & CAFE
This centre Eco-Friendly kitchen teaches those who are already sick (eg. with Cancer) and their families or care givers how to prepare whole-some nutritious organic food, herbal drinks and juice therapy to restore health. The kitchen can provide training for up to 30 people at a session.  Our Eco-Friendly Kitchen & Café of organic vegetarian healthy snacks and lunches. (Beneficiaries can enjoy free set meal)

All other members are encouraged to give a donation of $7/- or more for a set meal to defray the cost.


VEGETARIAN SOCIETY SHARES LIBRARY

Kampung Senang and Vegetarian Society Singapore, share a joint Library and work together to promote healthy & natural vegetarian diets in schools, Our Library with more resources & materials, donations of books & magazines on natural health and organic gardening will be greatly appreciated.

Everyone – from all walks of life, all races, all religions – is warmly invited to this healing centre where are will not only learn how to live a holistic and naturally healthy lifestyle in harmony with one another but also with Mother Earth.

Naturally the HLC will depend greatly on the services of Volunteers, just as Kg Senang’s other activity centres (Tampines and Kovan-Hougang) currently do and will continue doing.
